Bronwyn Butterfield
Bronwyn Butterfield is a fourth generation beadwork artist in her family, from Winnipeg, MB on Treaty 1 territory. She is a lifelong learner of beadwork, using beads and additional mediums such as painting, photography and film, to explore function, dreams, place, identity, and family histories. She holds a BA (Honours) in Geography from the University of Winnipeg and is a graduate of the Yukon School of Visual Arts. Bronwyn is a mixed European settler and Cree-Métis from Norway House, MB. She lives in Dawson City, Yukon on Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in territory.
